In 1988, Mr. Oba Otudeko OFR, established a company with international appeal that would undertake a full range of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering contracting services.

Pivot grew from a staff strength of ten and a first ever contract worth half a million Naira into a firm executing contracts worth billions of Naira handled by 700 man team composed of Expatriate and Nigerian Managers. And in 1998, Pivot relocated to its permanent site at No. 6A Acme Road, Ogba-Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

Today, with its head office in Lagos and regional offices in Abuja and Port Harcourt as well as London office; all run on modern information technology tools and equipment. Pivot's 1988 founding aims of training local engineers achieving technology transfer and rendering first rate international services are being realised.
